Villa LoveHill sits within Love Valley, Đà Lạt, surrounded by pine forest and the highland mist that defines this place.
Designed by Haia Architects around a philosophy of respecting the land and connecting people to nature, the villa spans 184.4m² of bespoke interior fitout by INCONCEPT, from the central pine timber core to the teak door system, stainless steel kitchen island, and all finishing joinery throughout. Where the boundary between the built interior and the landscape outside nearly ceases to exist.

In the pine forest and mist of Đà Lạt, Villa LoveHill is a conversation between architecture and nature. The house occupies the highest point of the site, where topography, light and landscape guide every decision in design and construction. Wind moves through the pine trees unobstructed. The Lang Biang range appears at the far edge of the view — present, then hidden behind cloud.

Pine timber cladding the central core was selected board by board for grain continuity, finished with penetrating oil rather than surface lacquer — so the wood continues to breathe and its natural fragrance survives the build intact. At midday, when temperature peaks, the timber releases its scent most fully. Shadows from ikebana branches shift across the pine wall with each movement of light and air. Every time the door opens, the scent of pine greets whoever enters — familiar in a way that is difficult to name, but immediately felt.

A house is not experienced through sight alone, but through how people move within and between its spaces. Morning light enters through four glass faces and spreads simultaneously to every room. Underfoot, pine holds its warmth against twelve-degree air. Through the full-height glass, Lang Biang appears exactly at eye level. None of this happens by accident — each moment is the result of a specific construction decision, held to the millimetre. A life worth aspiring to is not built through expensive purchases. It is built by those who understand deeply how to turn an idea into a space that is truly worth living in.

The space was designed with a philosophy of respecting topography, connecting people to nature, and producing experiences that carry genuine emotional weight — where light, material and landscape work together, balancing contemporary architecture with the particular beauty of Đà Lạt. The answer to what it means to live here: a sense of belonging within nature, the sharp clarity of early morning light, and the warm amber glow that settles in after dusk. Materials were chosen to serve that feeling. Craftsmanship carried the idea through. By handover, the boundary between the built work and the landscape surrounding it had nearly disappeared.
